I have decided to create this blog to try and help people who want to get their kids eating healthy and nutritious food. I know how much of a struggle it can be at times when it comes down to trying to get your kids to eat healthy food but hopefully if you stick with me I will be able to give you some tips and advice that will help you and your kids on the way to being happy, healthy and eating some delicious food along the way! I am the dad to 2 beautiful children, 1 girl (11) and 1 boy (15 months). They have been tricky to please sometimes when it comes to eating but after trial and error (sometimes it feels like a little too much error!) I am very happy with the way they have taken to the new foods that I have presented them and are now very happy and willing to try new and exciting foods without kicking up too much of a fuss!
As there is quite a large age gap between my two kids it has been interesting to see how different and similar in certain aspects that they are to each other. It has been such a joy cooking for and with them (I will explain why that is so important at a later date) and it really doesn’t have to be the huge struggle at meal times that it often is for families these days. Don’t get me wrong, there is always going to be a little bit of friction at times but isn’t that always the case when you’ve got children?
